The Cricketers, Rainham, is collecting donations for Grenfell Tower fire victims

A high street pub has become a donation centre for people who want to help the victims of the Grenfell Tower blaze.

Six people have died and 74 are being treated in hospital after a huge fire engulfed a 24-storey tower block in the Latimer Road area near Notting Hill in west London in the early hours on this morning.

Hundreds of firefighters tackled the flames to rescue residents from their homes after the fire broke out just before 1am.
