The A2 New Road in Chatham is blocked in both directions following an accident.

Kent Police were called at 1.53pm and an ambulance crew was in attendance. The collision involved four cars.

Minor injuries are believed to have been reported.

Traffic has been diverted locally and traffic around the former St Bartholomew's Hospital is being affected.
