Chatham: Teens charged with robbery

Three teenagers have been charged with robbing a 15-year-old boy.

The incident happened last Wednesday at about 8pm when the victim reported he had been targeted by the gang when walking along Chatham Hill, Chatham.

A 15-year-old boy from Gillingham, a 15-year-old boy from Rochester, and a 17-year-old boy from Chatham were arrested the following day and have all been charged with robbery.

The 17-year-old has also been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place.

Police don't release the names of people charged if they are under the age of 18.

All three have been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 5.
