Two arrested over robberies

Police investigating two incidents on the Great Lines in Gillingham in which teenagers were robbed of cash have made two arrests.

Two men aged 30 and 26 were arrested in Chatham last night, Monday, following a police appeal for information.

They are being questioned at Medway Police Station about the incidents on Sunday evening when a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old were robbed within 10 minutes of each other.

Neither was hurt and a total of £25 cash was stolen.
