A zero-waste and organic food-focused company has opened its first physical store in Kent.
The Pureplanet Shop is located at Eternal Lake Nature Reserve in Cliffe and sells a range of organic and biodynamic produce and refillable glass zero waste products, as well as other items that promote sustainable living.
The aim of the store is to provide a convenient way for customers to reduce their environmental impact while enjoying high-quality products.
The shop offers food items including fresh fruits and vegetables, and bulk dry goods like nuts, grains, and spices.
It also sells household cleaning and personal care products.
Customers are encouraged to bring their own clean containers or purchase one of the shop’s own, to fill up with the products they need.
This helps to get rid of the need for single-use packaging and reduces waste.
The Pureplanet Shop also aims to foster a sense of community and education around sustainable living.
The shop hosts regular workshops and events, where customers can learn about eco-friendly practices and connect with like-minded individuals.
Mark Kent, founder of Pureplanet said: “We are thrilled to open the Pureplanet Shop and provide our community with a sustainable and zero-waste shopping experience.
“Our goal is to make it easy for people to reduce their environmental impact by offering high-quality products that align with their values and farmers who practice sustainable farming.”
The shop is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm seven days a week.
