Chatham face one of their biggest games for two decades this weekend.

Kevin Watson takes the Chats to Horsham on Saturday for their first FA Cup third qualifying round tie since they lost 2-1 to Kingstonian in 1993.

The manager played in the first round proper for Team Bath in 2002 but these are unchartered waters for Chatham’s players.

And Watson wants them to grasp the significance of a game which could see a new chapter written in the Medway club’s history.

He said: "These chances don’t come around often but we have young players and it’s hard for them to understand that.

"They think they’ll have other opportunities in the FA Cup but I’m trying to get the point across that it’s a unique opportunity."
