Justin Edinburgh wants a closer look at Darlington winger Adam Mitchell.

The former Sunderland player has twice trained for Gillingham but boss Edinburgh wants to see him play.

“He was recommended to us and we’ve had a look at him in training,” said Edinburgh.

“We’ll probably have a look at him in a game over the coming weeks. We’ve got a lot of development games.

“He has looked bright in training but there is nothing more than that other than we have had a look at him.”
