Invicta Dynamos made it back to back wins in NIHL South on Saturday.

The Mos beat Cardiff Devils 7-3 but were soundly beaten the following day in the English Challenge Cup by Swindon Wildcats.

Andy Smith opened the scoring for Invicta on Saturday and by the end of the second period there was just one goal in it.

Anthony Leone, Smith and Callum Fowler netted to put Invicta 4-3 ahead.

Fowler put the Mos further ahead in the third period and a double from Leone - to complete his hat-trick - secured the win.

Newly arrived forward Frankie Harvey made his debut in the win but fellow newcomer Joonas Liimatainen was again absent.

The Mos faced Swindon in the cup on Sunday but they were heavily beaten, losing 9-1.

Hosts Swindon went ahead before Steve Osman levelled the scores in the first period. Two more goals put the Wildcats 3-1 up.

Swindon added another six goals to leave the Mos sitting bottom of the pile in the table, after five defeats from five.
