Medway Area Sunday League round-up (19/11/23)

There was a landmark moment for Pentagon’s Jack Thompson in their 6-4 Division 2 win over Omega 92.

Thompson’s first goal in his hat-trick was his 200th for the club. Ryan Brightwell (2) and Kieran Daly also netted while Matt Pemberton (3) and Daniel Lee replied for Omega.

Jon Hickman, Hayden Webb and Kane Haysman were on target in Real 60’s 3-1 win against Bredhurst.

Tom Whalin and Matthew Smith netted in Riverside Academy’s 2-1 victory over Cliffe Woods Colts A, Des McCarthy replied.

Star Meadow and Cuxton 91 shared the points in a 3-3 Premier Division draw. Ryan Bushell (2) and Dan Jenner scored for Star Meadow with Ben Collier, Jamie Reeves and Harry Martin replying for Cuxton.

In Division 1, Medway Sport XI shaded AFC Shorne 3-2 with goals from Max Underwood (2) and Jack Hardy.

In Division 3, Luke Cazalet-Smith and Ronnie Wilson were on target in Cliffe Woods Rangers’ 2-2 draw with Medway United.

Jon Goodman, James Young and Liam Dawes scored for New Brompton 1893 as they shared the points in a 3-3 draw with London Road, who netted through Jake Everett (2) and Stephen Mills.

Pegasus 81 lost 4-1 to Cantium. Ollie Small scored for Pegasus but Adam Norris, Dylan Lockyer and Harry Whitehead (2) sealed the points.

Division 4 Bredhurst Juniors lost to a Carl Morson goal for Your Move Chatham.

Dave King claimed the only goal of the game for Cross Park against The Stumble.

Ryan Cox (4) and Matthew Nelson (2) netted in Tunbury Athletic’s 6-1 win against Kent Marina 19.

In Division 5, doubles from Kye O’Brien and Ish Kpal plus a Jordan McPhee goal added up to a 5-0 win for Anchorians Rovers over Hempstead Valley.

Evan Jones and Reece Germano earned Caspian Tigers the points in their 2-0 win over River.

Liam Harris scored what proved to be a consolation for New Road Athletic in their 5-1 loss to Wigmore Wanderers, George Hennessy (3) and Miller Galbraith (2) did the damage.

Zak Warren, Tom White and Josh Brown were on the scoresheet in Strood’s 3-1 triumph over Walderslade WMC, who replied through Lee Carvall.

In the Kent Sunday Premier Cup, Quested earned a 3-1 victory over Cliffe Woods Colts thanks to Brad Schafer, Greg Smith and Matt Gething.

In the Kent Sunday Junior Cup, Ryan Capon, Harry Freeman, Jae Humphrey, Josh Walters and Michael Smith were on the scoresheet for ASK Medway in their 5-1 victory over Anchorians Athletic, for whom James Staunton replied.

Dylan Walker (3), Charlie Grogan, Callum Sawyer and Ediz Ali were all on target in Eagles’ 6-0 victory over Rochester Eagles.

In the Kent Sunday Junior Trophy, Athletic Bilbowls had Jack Clover (2), Sean Molloy and Kyle Shaw to thank for their 4-1 win over Rose Inn.
