Medway Area Sunday League round-up (21/01/24)

Josh Inkpen and Josh Hallam netted for Division 5 leaders Westfield Sole in a 2-0 win over Wigmore Wanderers.

Unbeaten Caspian Tigers shaded Strood 3-2 to keep pace with goals from Josh Brooker, Reece Germano and Reece David Bare.

Adam Stone and Alfie Donovan (2) were on target in Rochester Eagles Reserves’ 3-1 win over Walderslade WMC, Matt Hastings was on target for the division’s bottom side.

Division 4 AEI Sports Sunday made it nine wins out of nine with a 12-2 win over Bredhurst Juniors.

Callum Olds, Callum Gatham, Adam Browning, Moses Alausa (3), Daryl Herbert-Smith (4), Mason Odds and Lewis Odds were all on target.

Liam White’s lone strike for Cross Park was not enough as they lost 3-1 to Kent Marina 19, Dean Jones, Jack Quarrington and Sonny Andrews their marksmen.

Jay Rogers scored five goals for Milton & Fulston Zebras and Sam Jones was also on target as they beat Rochester Eagles 6-3. Rich McKee (2) and Michael Adjei netted for Eagles.

Jay Vincent and Timon Firmin were on target in Your Move Chatham’s 2-0 victory over Palmerston Athletic.

London Road closed the gap on Division 3 leaders Athletic Bilbowls to a point after winning 2-1 at Eagles Gold. Liam Tyler and Joshua Coombs netted for London, Tom Tingley scored for Gold.

The Walnut Tree hit 11 without reply against Cantium. George Baker (3), Neal Parkes (2), Niall Cullen (2), Aaron Woolcock, Chris Ramshaw, Elliot Huitson and Tommy Hayes were all on the scoresheet.

Tyler Bell, Damien Kennard, Jayke Phillips, John Clarkson and Robert Whitten were all on target in Bredhurst Juniors United’s 5-0 victory against Medway Rovers 20.

The gap at the top of Division 2 is also down to a point following Cliffe Woods Colts A’s 4-2 success at Pentagon.

Jack Burnham scored a hat-trick with Charlie Sweatman also on target while Ryan Brightwell and Jack Thompson replied.

Harry Bailey and Kia Osbourne netted for Real 60 in their 2-2 draw with Hempstead United.

Division 1 leaders Rainham Kenilworth 2 and second-placed Springfield Park drew 2-2, Nathan Young and Yomi Yusuph were on target.

FC Catalans lost 3-0 to Rochester after goals from Adam Bull, Timi Mosuro and Grant Laker.

Josh Crocker and Michael Terry were on target in Anchorians Athletic’s 2-0 victory at Swallow Rise 93.
