Our win at Doncaster last Saturday was another sign that we are steadily progressing.

We aren’t smashing teams out of the way, but we have just had our first away win in the
league and we’re moving forward.

We have a lot of young lads in the dressing room this season and they are still learning the highs and lows of football.

The confidence is building and you have to remember some of these players hadn’t played first-team football before. Now some of them are 20 games into their careers.

With that behind them they are becoming more comfortable and calmer on the ball.

This unbeaten run started with a win at Crawley, where the fans didn’t stop cheering despite the awful weather conditions and that rubbed off on the players.

You could tell there was an air of relief and confidence and from the end of that game we have just continued to work hard.

There was a real lift and we have kept the momentum going. We have been unbeaten since then and being unbeaten breeds confidence and ultimately success.

When we lose, which will happen, we need to stay level headed, don’t get too down and remember what we’ve done recently and go again. Hopefully that is a long way away,
though.
