Cancer sufferers facing financial problems

MORE than three quarters of people with cancer in Kent could be suffering money worries, according to a survey carried out by Macmillan Cancer Relief.

The cancer charity is lobbying the Government to make it easier for people to access benefits and reduce their financial stresses.

Patients claim concerns about money make the trauma of being diagnosed with cancer even worse.
