Battle of the brainiacs will begin on Friday (April 21) from 7pm at the KM Canterbury Big Charity Quiz – will The Unicorn Inn once again claim victory?

Teams will compete at Kent Sport for the Big Quiz trophy and a place in the county finals. Among them will be Canterbury based The Unicorn Inn who last year beat Medway’s Supernova by two points to secure the top spot.

Organised by the KM Charity Team the Big Quiz will feature a raffle with Hornby collectables among the prizes up for grabs. One quiz-goer will be selected to answer an on the spot quiz question to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.

The popular Spitfire charity bar with stock supplied by Shepherd Neame will be manned by Barclays staff. The bank will match all money raised on the night to ensure a huge cash windfall for charity.

Funds will be divided between the Motor Neurone Disease Association East Kent, Kent and Canterbury Hospital’s League of Friends, and road safety and literacy services for children.
