A charity is calling for teams to pit their wits against each other and help raise a windfall for good causes.

Big money is up for grabs for quizzers and charities on the 21 April 2017 at the Canterbury heat of the KM Big Quiz.

This year’s event will support both the Motor Neurone Disease Association and KM Walk To School road safety services.

Clive Hudson chair of the charity says: “We are really hoping that supporters of MNDA East Kent will join in the quiz and help us in raising funds. Money raised on the night will be used to support people living with MND in East Kent and some may also be used for research for the cure to this dreadful disease.”

The quiz is packed with entertainment and prizes and will be held at the University of Kent Sports Hall in Canterbury.

Teams will enjoy a night of brainteasers and banter with a prize packed raffle– all for under £7 a head with discount code KMNEWS17.

Dominic Comins, events manager at the KM Charity Team which organises the event, said: “Whether you are a burgeoning Egghead or don’t know your University Challenge from your Mastermind, it doesn’t matter! You’ll still have a fun night out, a chance to win some great prizes and most importantly, help raise funds for some fantastic local charities!”

Organisations backing the event include Office Angels, Barclays, Shepherd Neame, League of Friends of Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Armadillo Self Storage, IMP Event Production, Eurostar, Hornby and University of Kent Sport.
