A2070 closed after car and motorbike collide near Ivychurch

A motorcyclist has been injured in a collision with a car on Romney Marsh.

The accident happened on the A2070 at 4.50pm yesterday (Monday) at the junction with Ivychurch, and police closed the road in both directions.

The male motorcyclist suffered a leg injury, and was treated by an ambulance crew before being taken to hospital.

His injury is not thought to be life threatening.

The road was later re-opened.
