Details online describe the boozer as having a large bar and restaurant, five bedroom accommodation for owners, and a large garden and car park.

It is stated that the pub has "high turnover and profit margins".

It has a four star rating on review site Tripadvisor, with one customer writing: "I’d recommend this oldie lovely pub with charming staff."

Another added: "Lovely food in a pub full of character... the staff are really friendly."

In 2017, the business was awarded with the Certificate of Excellence award from Tripadvisor.

It is close to Dymchurch's beach and fun fair.

It comes just two months after The City Of London - also in Dymchurch high street - was put on the market.

The pub shut at the start of the year as previous tenants decided to move on to a "new project".

Dymchurch is also home to The Ship Inn, which is not up for sale.

The owners of The Ocean Inn were approached for a comment.
