Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance called after Sevenoaks cyclist knocked off bike

A woman in her forties has been taken to King's College Hospital with injuries to her shoulder after her bicycle crashed into a metal barrier.

The incident took place on Otford Lane, near London Road, Halstead, where the woman was treated by crews.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance and police were called at around 10.40am on Monday, May 4.

The South East Coast Ambulance service were also called, and a spokesperson for SECAMB said:

"Two cars and an ambulance attended an incident on Monday morning, after receiving a call that a woman had been knocked of her bike."

The woman was conscious at the scene, but was still driven to the hospital as a priority where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
