Westerham, Oxted, Brasted and Crockham Cancer Research UK branch holding Christmas fair

A Cancer Research UK branch in west Kent will host its annual Christmas Fair next month.

The Westerham, Oxted, Brasted & Crockham Hill branch is inviting visitors to its fair for the fifth year on Wednesday, November 5 in aid of the charity.

Over 50 stalls selling a wide range of festive gifts from glassware and ceramics, to books and pens, jewellery, baby wear and luxury clothing will be held offering something for all the family and friends.

Well-known ITV broadcaster Nicholas Owen, himself a cancer survivor, will be opening the event at 10.30am.

Committee chairman Caroline Johnstone said: "We are very happy to be returning to The Grasshopper Inn for the 5 year and are excited that broadcaster and journalist Nicholas Owen will open the fair.

"It is a fantastic opportunity to do all your Christmas shopping under one roof and all proceeds go to Cancer Research UK" - Caroline Johnstone...

Cancer Research UK Christmas cards and wrapping paper will also be on sale alongside a dedicated food and drink hall selling locally sourced produce.

Last year's fair raised almost £6,000 and members are hoping this year's will be as successful.

It will be held at the Grasshopper Inn, Moorhouse in Westerham Road.
