Kent Police appeal for information following alleged road rage attack in Main Road, Knockholt

Police are trying to hunt down a road rage suspect who allegedly attacked two cyclists.

The attack happened in Main Road, Knockholt, between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday, July 26.

It is claimed he drove his car at one of the men, who narrowly avoided being hit as the vehicle collided with his bicycle and dragged it along the road.

He also verbally abused the men and braked suddenly in front of them.

It is believed he was driving a light-coloured four-wheel drive.

The victim has since helped detectives piece together this computer-generated image of the suspect.

The suspect is white, aged 20-30 with short dark brown hair.

Det Con Stuart Cook said: "While the victim in this case was understandably shaken up, he was extremely fortunate to have escaped being seriously injured or worse."
