Sevenoaks residents warned of man knocking on doors offering to tarmac driveways claiming he works for KCC Highways

Residents in Sevenoaks are being warned are being warned about a rogue trader cold calling in the area.

There have been reports of a man knocking on doors and offering to tarmac driveways for a low price claiming that he works for Kent County Council Highways.

He is described to be 5ft 10ins, in his mid 30s with short black hair and wearing a yellow high visibility jacket.

He was seen driving a white van displaying Highways branding.

KCC Highways does not cold call residents offering them this service, and is anxious to find out if other residents have received similar calls or seen this man.
