Bus on fire outside Sevenoaks railway station

Passengers had to leave a bus operating as a rail replacement service after a blaze broke out.

The incident occurred outside Sevenoaks railway station at about 3.50pm today.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze, thought to have broken out in the rear of the vehicle, and nobody was injured.

Passengers took to Twitter to discuss the incident.

Nicholas Hair tweeted: "So as if it wasn't bad enough that your train was replaced with a bus, the bus then catches fire. All going off in Sevenoaks today!"
