by Emma Grove

An air ambulance was called after a child fell from a window this morning.

Emergency services said it happened at an address in Sheerness at about 10.30am.

The helicopter landed at the Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey, in Marine Parade, but a spokesman said the incident had not happened on the school grounds.

The youngster was treated at the scene and then taken to hospital by land ambulance, rather than being airlifted.
