Minster motorbike rider 'trapped under car' after crash in Minster flown to King's College Hospital in London

A motorbike rider has been flown to hospital after he is believed to have been trapped under a car in a crash in Minster this morning.

Police were called to Minster Road at 9.25am and the road was closed from the junction with Scrapsgate Road.

The male biker suffered leg injuries and was taken to King's College Hospital in London.

The car driver was treated at the scene for shock, but did not need to go to hospital.

Two land ambulances were also called, along with firefighters from Sheppey who were also called to help make the area safe.

The road was reopened at just after 11am.
