The Wiltshire celeb cozied up with staff at Sheerness’s latest co-working space, Island Works, which is run by Fruitbowl Media, within the Dockyard Church.

Chief executive, Paul Andrews, said: “Mary is friends with one of the Dockyard Trust’s trustees.

“On Saturday, January 27, we were having a meeting, which her friend was attending, and so Mary came along too.”

The Dockyard Church was left in ruin for more than 20 years after a devastating fire and it received a multi-million-pound restoration which saw it become a “world-class” business hub.

It is also home to a public cafe where Paul said Mary enjoyed a snack.

He continued: “She was here for about three hours.

“She had coffee and cake, smiled nicely at everyone, and said hello.

“It was a random visit but she really liked the Dockyard Church, she was very impressed and we got a good review from her.”
