Police appeal for witnesses after Minster man robbed of cash

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man in his 60s was robbed of cash.

The man told officers he was driving in Minster Broadway near the Costcutter store on Sheppey when he was approached by a man who forced him to drive to a cul-de-sac near Kent Avenue.

A "quantity of cash" was stolen and the victim’s hands were tied to the steering wheel of the car before the offender left in the direction of Kent Avenue.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

Officers are asking for anyone with information about the incident, or if they were in the area at about 11am on Monday (June 26), to call 01795 419119 quoting reference XY/30422/17.
