A missing Sussex man could be in the Sheerness area.

Police have released an appeal to find 40-year-old Christopher Chester.

Officers are concerned about the welfare of the St Leonards-on-Sea resident.

He was last seen at the town's Conquest Hospital on Friday at 8pm where he was waiting to be assessed for treatment.

He is 5ft 8in with short brown hair, facial stubble and a pierced left ear.

He has tattoos on each arm: "True Love Marie" on the left and "Mum" on the right.

He is a smoker and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans on Friday Police believe he might be on the Island.
