Minster Working Men’s Club, Union Road, Minster, hosts children from St George's Primary School for Christmas fun

Drinks, nibbles and a disco were on offer during a children’s party in Minster.

Parents organised the fun for youngsters who attend Cherry class at St George’s primary.

The party at Minster Working Men’s Club also included face painting and visits from a reindeer, elves and Father Christmas.

Geraldine Gray, who helped put together the end-of-term celebration, said: “It was a lovely afternoon and put everyone in the Christmas mood.

“The children have worked hard all year, so the party was a well-earned treat.

“I’d like to say a big thank-you to all the parents for their effort and support.”
