Three arrested after Sheerness attack

Three men have been arrested after a serious assault in Sheerness.

A 35-year-old man was attacked in Berridge Road at 3.45pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Police said an altercation had occurred and the man sustained serious injuries to his hand and head.

His condition was not said to be life-threatening.

Police later arrested three men – an 18-year-old, a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old.

They are currently being questioned by police in Sittingbourne.
