A woman has been arrested following a suspected stabbing at a caravan park in Leysdown.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of an assault at the Isle of Sheppey Holiday Village in Warden Bay Road at 1.20pm yesterday, and treated a woman for a leg injury.

It is not thought to be serious.

A 27-year-old woman from London was arrested at the scene and has been bailed until October 20, pending further inquiries.

The two women are understood to be known to each other.
