A silver hatchback was left balanced upside down on a wall after a crash in Newington.

It happened in Church Lane at around 3.30pm yesterday, and the road was closed for much of the afternoon.

The crash involved two cars.

A wall has been damaged in the accident and the car narrowly avoided hitting the front of a house.

There were no reports of any serious injuries.
