Police and ambulance crews called to crash on A249 between Key Street and Stockbury roundabout

The A249 was partially closed this morning after a car hit the central reservation and flipped onto its side.

Police and paramedics were called to the Maidstone-bound carriageway, between the Key Street and Stockbury roundabouts, shortly after 9.20am.

One lane was closed while the vehicle was recovered, sparking delays in the area.

It is not yet known if anyone was seriously hurt in the crash.
