A horrified driver has shared shocking dashcam footage of bike-riding youngsters weaving in and out of traffic at a busy junction by a McDonald’s drive-thru.

Two kids were seen performing wheelies between several moving cars as the lights turned green by Sittingbourne Retail Park.

The video shows the boys riding directly into moving traffic after ignoring a red light.

Taking to Facebook the motorist, who shared the video yesterday afternoon, said they felt angry following the situation that unfolded before them.

Posting anonymously they said: “Someone needs to talk to these little darlings about road safety. They think they are so clever.”

Commenters on the post agreed and said similar events happen elsewhere in the town too.

One explained: “It’s so scary driving to work in the morning on Canterbury Road with how they just cross the road. They do not even look.”

Another said: “The parents will only be bothered when their kids are in critical condition in hospital.”

The children’s dangerous behaviour comes after a number of dispersal orders were issued by police following an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area.

At the beginning of the month, police issued the orders across Sittingbourne High Street and the town’s retail park over two consecutive weekends.

An order was also put in place in Sittingbourne and Sheppey between May 19 and May 21 to tackle boy racers after a rise in reports of dangerous driving and nuisance vehicles.

Concerns were also raised about youths in Kemsley following several catapult attacks.

One victim, 13-year-old Ruby Gasson, suffered severe bruising to her leg when she was shot near Grovehurst Avenue.

Another resident, Sarah Mitchell, woke to discover her car window smashed and two ball bearings sitting in the vehicle outside her Taillour Close home.

Police have been contacted for comment about the dangerous bike riders.
