One lane of the M2 was closed following a crash.
Officers were called to the incident between junction 6 for Faversham and junction 5 for Sittingbourne of the London bound carriageway.
A diversion was in place while officers clear the scene but drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes.
No serious injuries have been reported at this stage.
A man has since been arrested.
