Entries still open for Sittingbourne Invicta 10K race which sets off from Westlands School on May 17

There’s less than four weeks to go until the annual Sittingbourne Invicta 10k race.

Participants will set off from the playing fields of Westlands School, Westlands Avenue, Sittingbourne, at 11am on Sunday, May 17.

The route will follow country roads before returning to the starting point. There is just one short stretch off-road.

A 2K fun run will also be held at 9.45am on the same day. Registration is between 9am and 9.30am, and the entry fee is £2.50.

All funds raised will go to Swale Youth Development Fund and Sittingbourne Rotary Club’s community chest, which supports a number of smaller local clubs and groups.
