Kent Kings beaten by Wimbledon Dons in John Cearns Cup meeting at Central Park

Kent Kings' Central Park winning streak ended on Monday night when Wimbledon Dons lifted the John Cearns Cup.

Kings went into the meeting on a run of six home wins in all competitions but Dons triumphed 50-37.

Ben Morley was the leading Kent rider with 12 points, followed by Adam Kirby (8+2) and captain Steve Boxall (8).

Central Park hosts its final meeting of the season when the Silver Ski Holidays Championship takes place next Monday (September 23).
