Captain Tom Brunt and highly-rated striker Harry Smith are among 10 players who have signed new deals at Sittingbourne.

Brickies have also agreed terms with defenders Billy French, George Crimmen and Jono Richardson, midfielders Stefan Wright, Dave Pilcher, Hicham Akhazzan and Kieran Oliver and forward Miles Cornwell.

Boss Nick Davis is waiting on answers from goalkeeper Adam Molloy, left-back Conrad Lee and striker Adam Williams but the trio won’t be rushed.

Davis said: “We always wanted to keep the majority of the squad together, so we’re happy to have 10 signed on by this stage.

“Potentially, we have 13 if the other three who’ve been made offers decide to stay.

“We’ve offered Molloy something more in line with our budget. He’s been here three years and loves the place but we’ll have to wait and see. I have three keepers coming to pre-season just in case but in an ideal world, I hope Molloy stays.

“We can’t meet what Adam Williams is after at the minute but I’ve given him time to think about our offer. He’s a player of good pedigree and could be the one to get us the goals that would see us push into the top 10.

“Conrad did great for me at left-back and I hope he stays.”
