Honda 90cc quad bike stolen from farmland at Green Lane, High Halden

Brazen thieves drove across four fields, cut through barbed wire fencing and lifted a gate off its hinges, stealing a child's quad bike in their haul.

A trailer and power and hand tools were also reported stolen from a locked container on farmland at Green Lane, High Halden, between 4pm on Saturday, January 28 and 2pm on Sunday, January 29.

PC Dan Perry of the rural task force said: "They took a red Honda 90cc quad bike (pictured), a Honda generator, a small Ifor Williams trailer, a quantity of fencing, an angle grinder and various other tools."

"They have clearly used a 4x4-type vehicle with off-road tyres to gain access to this remote location."

PC Perry is appealing for help from the public to track down the thieves. He said: "I would particularly like to know of any 4x4 vehicles seen around this area over the weekend that were covered in mud and possibly towing a trailer.

"I also ask anyone who is offered similar items for sale to contact us."
