Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on A274 Headcorn Road between Biddenden and Lashenden

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with two cars.

The incident took place on the A274 Headcorn Road between Biddenden and Lashenden this morning, with officers called to the scene at 7.50am.

The carriageway was blocked in both directions for almost three hours before police were able to clear the area.

The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening but they were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a collision involving two cars and a motorbike in Headcorn Road near Biddenden.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital.”
