Dingleden Lane, Benenden: Road closed after 'sinkhole' opens up

A road in a Kent village is closed this afternoon after a 'sinkhole' opened up.

A team from Kent County Council's Highways are in Benenden dealing with a 'subsidence' in Dingleden Lane.

They have closed the road between Ramsden Lane, Woodcock Lane, Hopehouse Lane and Standen Street.

It is not known how much damage has been caused to the road yet.
