Teenager cut free from car wreck in Bedlam Lane in Swift's Green near Smarden

Firefighters rescued a trapped teenager from the wreckage of his car after it overturned in a ditch in a rural road.

The crews had to cut through the back of the car to reach the 18-year-old driver in Bedlam Lane near Smarden before at around 1am this morning (Sunday, May 15).

He is believed to have been injured in the crash, and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
