A suspected burglar has been arrested after a woman confronted an unknown man in her home.
Police received a report of a burglary in process at a house in St Andrew's Road at about 6.15pm yesterday.
The victim reported that nothing was stolen.
Officers attended and arrested a 22-year-old man from Ramsgate on suspicion of burglary.
He remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
