Fire crews fight blaze in Church Street, Margate basement

Firefighters used a ventilation fan to clear smoke after a fire broke out in a basement of a home in Margate.
Crews were called to Church Street, margate at just before 7pm tonight.
They wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel and the fan to clear smoke from the premises.

There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
It was put out by 7.20pm.
