Dreamland Margate reopens venue that hosted Rolling Stones

Dreamland’s newly refurbished Hall By The Sea – which has seen music legends such as The Rolling Stones and The who perform – opens to the public tonight.

The iconic Margate venue, built under George Sanger’s ownership in 1870, will host this weekend’s By The Sea Festival.

Headlined by Super Furry Animals, Ivor Novello Award-winning Bat For Lashes and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker among others, the festival returns to Margate for the second year running.
