It's nearly time to light up Westwood Cross ready for the festive season.

Stars from this year’s The X Factor and Love Island will help switch on the sparkles at the centre’s seasonal celebration tomorrow.

Flicking the switch this year will be Love Island runner-up couple Gabby and Marcel.

The pair from the ITV2 show will be joined on stage for a special performance by The X Factor stars Lemonade.

Thanet Extra’s sister radio station kmfm’s breakfast show presenters Garry and Emma will host the night of fun and provide the entertainment and a number of local groups will also perform.

Visitors can take part in a name-the-reindeer competition, with an opportunity to win a stocking full of presents.

Children can also write post letters to Father Christmas, which will be collected at the Guest Services kiosk near Debenhams.

The entertainment begins at 4pm, with the lights switch on at 6pm.
