Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer spotted queuing for ice cream at Morellis in Broadstairs

The leader of the Labour Party has been spotted queuing for an ice cream near a Kent seafront.

Sir Keir Starmer was seen with his family at the popular Morellis in Broadstairs this afternoon, enjoying a day out.

Henry Collier took to Twitter and posted the image of the dad-of-two today.

He wrote: "Is this Labour leader Keir Starmer in #Broadstairs this afternoon?

"Can’t blame him for getting himself a Morellis."

Other eagle-eyed people spotted him in the town and posted about it on social media.

Sir Keir became the leader of the opposition in April this year, succeeding Jeremy Corbyn.
