Liberty X to perform at Westwood Cross, Broadstairs Christmas light switch-on

Noughties pop group Liberty X will be one of the acts performing at a shopping centre’s Christmas light switch-on event.

The band, known for their 2002 hit Just a Little Bit will take the stage at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs.

Performing alongside festive favourites East 17, Michelle Heaton, Jessica and Kelli Young will entertain families on November 17.

Former members Tony Lundon and Kevin Simm left the group in 2017.

Alongside Liberty X and East 17, visitors can enjoy a lineup of tribute act performances through the decades such as Elton John and Ed Sheeran.

Francesca Donovan, centre manager at Westwood Cross, said: “Every year we look forward to celebrating Christmas with the community, and we’re so excited to be kicking off the festive season with incredible entertainment.

“It’s going to be a fun night for all!”

The event takes place from 4pm, but it is not yet known when the girl group will be taking the stage.

The festival spectacular is free and unticketed, with the lights being turned on at 6pm.
