A man had to be treated for breathing in smoke after a blaze broke out in the roof space of a building.
Four fire engines were sent to Park Road, Ramsgate, shortly before 3pm yesterday.
Crews administered first aid and oxygen to a man suffering from slight smoke inhalation.
Firefighters cut away and exposed all affected timber and ensured they were cool prior to leaving.
They had left the scene by 3.15pm.
