A man in his late 60s has been taken to hospital after he was found needing emergency treatment at a bus stop near Westwood Cross.

Police arrived at the scene outside Lidl supermarket at 10.03am and closed a section of Margate Road in Ramsgate.

Paramedics tended to the man at the bus stop before being taken to the QEQM hospital.

Buses and vehicles were diverted away from the incident before the road reopened at 11am.
