Kent Police release e-fit in connection to alleged assault in Millmead Road, Margate

Detectives have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was grabbed from a phone box in Margate.

The woman in her 20s was not hurt in the alleged assault which took place in Millmead Road at 3am.

The offender is described as aged between 16 and 19 between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 9ins tall with dark blond hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and believed to be wearing shorts.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Dan Aylett said: "The woman was making a call when a man approached the phone box from the direction of St Anthony’s Way.

"He asked if he could use the phone and when the victim said she would be on the call for a while, he grabbed her and pulled her from the phone box. She screamed, alerting two residents of Millmead Road, who came out of their homes and chased him down Kent Road."
