Police release e-fit in connection with a burglary in Gordon Square Birchington

Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to trace following a burglary in Birchington.

Cash and jewellery was stolen from a house in Gordon Square between 10.20am and 10.30am on Wednesday, April 19.

It was reported that a man climbed into the back garden of the property before opening a gate to allow an accomplice to join him.

They were then seen leaving the house through the front door.

Police attended the scene and are now keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man.

A witness to the incident has helped to compile a computer-generated image of one of the men.
